Running since 1975 and always busy at lunchtime. Shoon Huat's broth is on the lighter, clearer side, more mildly herbal and sweet than the peppery Singapore style, so it suits people who find other versions too heavy. There's now an air-conditioned back room if the open-air seating gets too hot.
